Facility Planning

Facility planning doesn’t always mean construction. It is important to examine all of the possible methods to help relieve over/under crowding of facilities. From low cost & simple measures such as program re-location all the way down high cost & complex measures such as capital construction, it is important to fully explore all options before making a decision.

Once the long-term forecasted enrollment needs are determined, the next step is to examine the facilities and usage to explore the best alternative.

Relief strategies are be explored from simple/low cost methods such as program relocation, school redistricting and/or grade cohort changes, to complex/high cost methods such as expansion of buildings and capital construction.
